Well, I’ve been engaged since March, and I absolutely love the engagement ring that I picked out. I have had some passing ring envy, but never anything that I would have traded my ring for.
Then, I got a random ad for Overstock that had a ring that so to the details suited my tastes that it made me a little frustrated. I do not want and will not buy this ring, but it pains me to know it exists. Not to say I don’t love my ring, but if the ring fairy came and dropped this under my pillow I can’t say that I would be sad.
It is also about exactly what I paid for my ring as well.
Have the banner ads on this or other sites ever played such a mean trick on you?

I’d rather have your ring than this one…your stone is unenhanced, matches everything, and looks like an engagement ring. This would be great for a rhr birthday or anniversary, but I can tell you for a blue diamond that’s a lot. look at alphaimports.com for inexpensive blue diamonds.

Thanks! That does make me feel a bit better. 🙂
I just really like the look of this one, but ultimately I am very happy with what I have. The good news is that I really like the band I picked out with MY ring, and my fiance is thrilled because I was able to find bands for both of us that had a matching motif. That was the ONE thing that he really cared about.
I went and cleaned my ring after I saw this one too, and that helped as well. Factory work makes the poor thing so filthy. 🙂
