I have found a couple different places that have loose 2.5-5.6 carat cushion cut diamonds. I feel like the traditional circle or princess cut diamonds look much larger than the cushion cut diamonds which kind of bugs me since I’m interested in a 2-3 carat cushion cut diamond for my center stone. Where did you get your ring from? What was sold price of your ring? Any suggestions for others buying expensive jewelry?

Here is my 2.5 ct equivalent oval CZ! I am so in love with it. I designed it myself. The band is has a vintage-looking hammered effect. This ring will probably be my permanent ring. It shines just as much as a diamond and not one person I know thinks it’s anything but one. I’ve had it for a month now (the pic is from today) and I don’t think it has clouded at all yet. I am very careful with it though, I don’t ever get it wet and take it off when using lotions, etc. If it does begin to get cloudy, I can just replace it! CZ’s are so cheap.
