This is mine. It’s a moissanite, 1 carat, comparable to an ideal cut, K colored VVS1 diamond. And I wear a 6.75 πŸ™‚ I have an elevated bezel with a super thin 1.5mm band, and that’s my wedding band, also 1.5mm but in rose gold.

Good luck!!

My ring is slightly bigger (1.34 carat on a size 5.5) and my setting is a petite cathedral pave with 1/6 total carat weight and 1.5 mm band

@pinkshoes:

Yep– and that’s not by accident! Your ring was one of two inspiration pics I sent to my fiance to give him an idea of what I wanted. πŸ™‚

@mdoodles:  That is totally beautiful. Mine was way under $4k– it is blue nile

But I would say there is nothing wrong with getting a jeweler to do a similar type of ring. No one would ever notice or ask and if it saves you $2-3k, that money could do a lot of good wedding planning. The only time I’ve been asked where I got my ring was when people were trying to figure out why it took so long to get resized (9 days). They were wondering why it was in Seattle and when they could see it!
