Any bees here have an Engagement ring as well as a separate Bridal set (or heard of someone doing this)? I am considering it because of not finding a band that I am happy with for my e-ring. I have looked at custom wedding bands in the style that I’d like, but with that price I might as well get a different set altogether.
Any takers? 🙂

My friend wears her engagement ring (yellow gold solitaire) on her right hand and her channel set wedding ring on her left hand. She thinks it’s too much bling together 🙂

Lol, that works too. I just really want both rings to be on the same hand though :(.

I did this.
Nothing fits with my e-ring, and we knew it would happen when we bought it but loved it so much, just figured I’d wear it on my right hand and a wedding band on my left hand…
But when came time to buy the wedding band, DH really preferred me to have a set on my wedding finger, he liked the look better and thought it looked more official, so he got me a wedding set for my left hand.
The e-ring and wedding set were both very affordable, so we didn’t feel bad about it. 😉

Nope, never heard of that. Seems to make more sense to just get a custom band for the ring you have now.

Do you wear your e-ring on your right hand often? Ugh, the problem with both my Fiance and I living in separate countries is we don’t always think far enough ahead about the future. The e-ring dilemma I am in right now is proof of that :/

I wear my e-ring on my right hand all the time, it doesn’t leave my hand. It is a delicate ring with no center stone though – doesn’t look like an e-ring to many; we’re not traditional in that sense.

My best friend wears the e-ring her husband gave her on her right hand and her mother’s bridal set on her left. Don’t know why, just the way she has always done it and it looks lovely…

I have an e-ring that I was proposed to, and I am getting a new bridal set for the wedding.
My Fiance & I are firm believers that the ring for engagement means one thing, but the ring(s) for the wedding mean something more. To us, the wedding ring should be more elaborate and wonderful than the engagement.
Lucky me 🙂

I think that is very sweet! Do you still plan on wearing your e-ring? If so, which hand? 🙂

I cant even imagine putting my engagement ring in the closet! so much money down the drain. All though I would love more diamonds!

I will be doing this because my engagement ring is more so a band. we were very young when we got engaged, and now that we are about to marry, we bought a bridal set to make it official. since we are older and want to display our marriage in a more traditional sense. I’ll wear my engagement ring on my righto hand though. it has so much sentiment to me, I feel I have to continue wearing it
