So my question is does my engagement ring need to match my band exactly or does it matter if its a little off? Here is my engagement ring that Fiance picked out all by himself, 1ct. 3 stone princess cut 14k white gold:
and here is the band he just purchased that I helped pick out! It seemed to be the best match we could find but the diamonds are bigger in the band than the side diamonds in the engagement ring, and they also don’t match up in width. The stones in the band are shorter across than the engagement ring. The band is 1/2ct. princess cut 14kt. white gold!
So they are similar but not exact, so let me know what u think! Thanks Sorry if the pics are small!!!

In these pics the diamond clarity looks a little darker in the band but that is not the case they are the same!!!

Don’t worry about whether they match or not. The important thing is that you love them together.
If you have any doubts, check out this thread, and you will see all kinds of combinations. Rings that match, rings that don’t match, rings that kind of match. You name it, and someone on the Bee has it.

They absolutely do not have to “match” at all! Just as long as they look good together, according to your own eye.

i don’t think that they need to match exactly. if you love them together, that’s all that matters.
