Is there anyone who has a different metal for their wedding band than they do for their engagement ring? (Please post pics =] )
My engagement ring is white gold and we were looking at wedding bands and found these pretty cool ones – but they’re sterling silver. I’m not sure if it would look bad or if they would look okay together. Thoughts?

Ive seen many brides on here with different rings/bands and many look great. I think it will boil down to what YOU personally like and want.
I personally love a matching set, and my engagement ring is made weird so a matching band is near impossible unless I get a plain solid band which I DO NOT want haha
So my fiance agreed I can get a bridal set for when we get married so I am looking everywhere to get one so I can have it paid by the time we get married.
If you have any ideas, post pics of your ring and what you are thinking to pair it with (I love pics haha)

I definitely don’t want a matching set, but we haven’t picked out our bands yet.
Be sure to research the metals to see if they would hold up to each other, if getting scratched is something that you care about. Sterling silver is fairly soft and could possibly be damaged by the white gold. And then there’s the polishing of silver…
I’m looking into stainless steel bands as an alternative.

@PoeticDoveInLA: Good luck on finding one that you love!! My ring goes out a bit around the main diamond, so I think it might look a little weird with this.. But! I just loveee this fingerprint design!

And here’s mine

Their website says they do gold – I missed that haha. But they don’t list the gold prices =[

A lot of women mix metals in their ring sets, but I highly advise against getting sterling silver for your wedding band. This will be a ring you will wear everyday for a very very long time and silver is not a strong enough metal to hold up to that kind of wear and tear. I wear a set of silver stacking rings on my right hand (don’t take them off) and they get scratched up like crazy. This one thin band even warped into an oval shape from hitting my hand on things.
If the seller makes them in gold, send them a quick message asking for pricing. There are also a ton of rings like that available on Etsy and you can see the price for gold in that style.

My set is rose and white gold 🙂 I would not go with a sterling silver wedding ring, they are much lower quality than gold and don’t look so great with time
