Not at all! I think it looks beautiful and elegant. You have nice, slender hands and I think the ring suits you very well. Of course you should be 100% happy so the decision is yours.

Congrats!

sunny890 :  Ditto + Forget about the ring…your hands/those fingers are like dream worthy. I’m blessed w/long fingers yet ring size is 7.5 Aw, man you may wanna consider modeling for some jewelry co. or something as your fingers would make any size stone look exponentially bigger IJS!

A .5ct is totally appropriate for a size 3.5 finger. Plus you have the halos- I wouldn’t worry about it. It totally suits you!

Gosh no, it’s not ‘too small’.  Your ring is beautiful and looks lovely on your hand.  I don’t think a larger centre stone would achieve the look you are going for (ie: a “longer” ring), but an elongated shape might (like an oval).  I am not suggesting you change your ring though, as it is really beautiful – just hoping to offer a thought.

I wear a similar ring size but have shorter fingers.  A bit jelly over here.  🙂

bardottie :  Haha our mothers knows best! I have taken a stack photo of my engagement ring and a wedding band together which recently had just came in. Fiancé did a great job on both. I’m 30 year old and we both have great jobs so, he wanted to splurge. I think people will always try to find bad things to say about a certain someone without knowing their past or what they have been through. I have a 3.5 carat ring because that’s what my fiancé wanted me to have, it’s not because I’m worth it. I purchased a house even before I met him and I have come from a good family, he then wants to measure up and he said it won’t hurt his bank. Some other wives of my fiancé friends are checking out my ring and some even say rude stuff like “it costs so much I’m sure, I don’t wanna put my husband in debt for that.” ~ I mean, don’t do that to me. I’ve never said anything mean about their unique rings. I didn’t expect people to talk down on me neither. You know? But then after a few months, it passes and nobody cares. Life goes back to its normal productive phases and we all get along. I think all women will have that ring envious phases they all have to go through because some thinks the ring signifies the amount of love the guys gives her. Yada yada I just love every rings to be honest with you. Again, your ring is pretty amazing. Your fine fingers can totally pull that look off whereas I have a tubbier shorter fingers meh! Congrats girl!

I think that ring looks totally perfect on you but only YOU can decide what you want. It’s very pretty! My center stone is just under .5 ct and the tcw is just over 1.5ct. My fingers are very long but they aren’t pretty like yours!

ariellabee :  I think it looks great. I wouldn’t describe that as a small ring at all. The proportions are good too.

I actually think it is beautiful on your hand. Another bee mentioned wedding bands. Since it is the length of your fingers that give you discomfort, how about wedding bands that add elongation?

If it was a solitaire maybe it would look a little ‘small’ but the double halo definitely adds weight. I think it’s just right
