I only take my rings off if I’m cooking something messy, when I shower, and working out.

I forget to wear mine most of the time to work. I’m an engineer so I do find sometimes it bothers me when I’m in deep concentration and the center Stone falls to the side because it’s so heavy. Can’t wait til I’m married so I can proudly wear my wedding band!

I slept with mine on the first month because I NEVER wanted to take it off, but then the feeling of it snagging on the pillows started bugging me so I decided it was best to take it off at night. I take it off for showering, working out, cleaning with chemicals, and depending on what I’m cooking. I also bartend 1-2 nights a week on the side and I’ve already gotten a few tiny scuffs on the prongs (cathedral setting, so easy to knock that sucker on the beer racks in the cooler!) so I’ve been contemplating wearing it on my necklace when I bartend. Funny thing is, Fiance keeps saying that he wanted to get me a huge rock and I’m just like no way, I have a hard enough time not bumping this one on everything!

I typically take mine off once I am home (for good) every day, along with my watch. I also take it off for doing dishes, showering, and sometimes when I was my hands too. My engagement ring is very comfortable, but once I’m home it’s all about relaxing for the rest of the evening.

I only took my ring off to sleep and shower when we first got engaged. Now I pretty much only wear my rings when I leave the house haha. I’m usually never wearing them at home.

mahadewi :  I actually rarely wear mine, usually just when I go out. I don’t wear it to work or the gymn, and I don’t wear it around the house. Part of the reason is because I’m overweight (although losing yay!) and I feel like the ring draws attention to my chubby fingers. The other part of the reason is that I’m worried a diamond or something is going to fall out, and I don’t want to have to deal with getting it replaced, at least not between now and the wedding, which is in less than 3 months. (FI got it super on sale when he was in grad school from a place that was going out of business so it doesn’t come with a warranty.) I do wear it when we go out to dinner or when I know I’ll be meeting new people. Sometimes I’ll put it on at home and watch a chick flick (love to look at it haha).

My wedding band is a simple curved band (to fit around the engagement ring but it looks neat solo too) with embedded diamonds. I will probably wear that all the time (except when cleaning or working out because my fingers swell when I sweat) and add my engagement ring for when we go out.

I only take mine off when using strong cleaning chemicals or raw meat/dough! It stays on showering, sleeping, doing my hair, working out, during work, etc.

I only wear mine out, never just around the house. When I come home I take it right off and put it back in it’s box where it goes.

I don’t even always wear my engamgent ring out though, only when I’m in the “mood” or won’t be doing lots of things with my hands. I tend to just wear my plain wedding band or a diamond stacking ring when I go out, and at home I wear nothing.

mahadewi :  I take mine off to shower, sleep, put on lotion, work out, any messy activities in the kitchen, when using harsh chemicals, when doing outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting, essentially any time it can be damaged.

I take mine off to: shower, lotion, cook, clean; work out, and sleep. I have ring holders in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room (I’m afraid of snagging it in the washer or dryer), and then of course my room, to make it easy to not lose it. I’m obsessed with my rings, so I always remember to put them back on lol.

I pretty much take my ring off only for the gym, putting on lotions, and to clean it every few days to weekly. The only reason I don’t when I do dishes, clean house, and cook is because I wear gloves to do those things anyway. So no messes getting onto my rings. If I didn’t wear gloves I would be taking them off for that too.

I keep them either on a dish or the crystal holder I have for them. To compensate for the extra wear I just see my jeweller every 2 to 3 months to make sure everything is tight. They don’t mind me coming in extra a bit 🙂

When I know I’m doing the gym though I’ll either go ringless or wear my black ceramic  and tungsten bands.

I always take it off when I get home. I often don’t wear it on weekends. I never shower with it or wear it to bed.

I wear mine most of the time, but take it off for washing dishes or my face and putting on cosmetics since I read that some cosmetics are harder than gold and can cause scratches. Although to me, that’s just patina lol. I do wear a silicone ring for working out.
