Long Story Short: I’ve been in love with the top ring for months. I loved the leafing on the sides, and I really liked the nature-y vibe it gave. It also has a ton of guarantees through james allen (cleaning, sizing, stones falling out, etc all covered).
I recently, however, found the bottom ring on etsy. Though the shop looks reputable, the only guarantee is a 30-day money back. I really love the nature-y look. It’s much more delicate, comes as a set with the wedding band, and I can’t get it out of my mind. I am wary buying a engagement ring off of Etsy, however.

I voted for James Allen. I like the look of the Etsy shop but I worry if something happens after 30 days you’ll be SOL if something happens.

I picked the JA ring, the other is gorgeous but may be too “trendy” in my opinion

I voted JA, they are both gorgeous but I like the JA one a little more and the warranty would bug me on the Etsy one. But get what you love because you will be wearing it for a long time…possibly forever if you don’t upgrade. Good luck keep us posted on which you choose!

I have been looking at those twig bands on Etsy for years now, I really like them. But I agree with PP they are trendy.

I would go for the JA ring and then keep the Etsy store in mind for a RHR.

The Etsy ring is cute, but will be dated quickly, whereas the JA ring is more timeless, imo.

I choose the James Allen because it looks a lot sturdier. The Etsy ring looks a little flimsy.

I too voted for JA but go with your gut, OP. It’s your future ring do what makes you happy but this is a big purchase so take everything into account.

The twig band looks like it would catch on sweaters, etc. I like the top one.

Maybe get the etsy band as a rhr. I prefer the James Allen.

I think the organic look of the Etsy one is gorgeous! The JA one looks like something you could get anywhere. Also, both my fiancé and I had TERRIBLE experiences with James Allen, so I can’t recommend them.

I contacted some other buyers for the etsy ring, and asked around as for durability, etc. Even though I’ve received a lot of positive feedback for the first, my gut feeing is telling me I would be way happier with the second.
