I wanted a solitaire that had a little something extra special. We had it custome made and I love it sooooo much, I’ve never gotten so many compliments for something in my life. Even strangers stop me and ask to look at it.

Mine is from moissaniteco.com and has some cool hidden side stones.

I think mine qualifies as a solitaire. Not sure, though.

Sorry so pics are so big and fuzzy! Yay for ring shopping! Sounds fun 🙂

ok, I love your ring!! The two little side diamonds simply MAKE your ring!! How beautiful to add two small stones next to your center stone, instead of large ones.

@carltonjo: You could still go with a Verragio setting. Maybe one from their Insignia Collection, which is less over the top but still has a nice vintage appeal.

what a beautiful set! Where did you get yours? They are so classic, modern, simple, and elegant together.

DH got them from a family owned jewellery store in Alliston Ontario. They are called Taylor’s. I could try and find out who manufactured the set if you’d like 🙂

Hope my post doesn’t come too late! U could throw in lots of milgrain or have intricate engravings on the band to make it look vintage. I chose to have scrolls on the side instead, while keeping the top view simple with a plan band.

Your ring is so pretty!! I love how you can see the diamond from the side! 🙂
