engagement ring imperfections/design flaws – help!

What was the stone in the ring that you originally tried on? The stone looks to be set higher and it’s a bit narrower, also looks smaller than your stone – all of these would explain why the prongs look different on your ring. 

Are you sure that you got a F1? It could just be the pics or lighting, but that moissanite does not look high quality to me. I’d check the girdle for the laser engraving (might be hard to see because of the prongs). You’d need really good magnificationfor that.

I’d take it back if you’re not happy about it, and see what they can do. Maybe when they fix the rattle they can replace your stone with a H&A.

Not alot of help. But …I noticed at the jewellers some f1s had that steel look. I actually chose a warm stone after seeing how grey or white some f1s are. Don’t settle until you are happy. Am sure you can hand select a stone you prefer. I think the other differences are negligable. I’ve also had to have rings cast in my size, small fingers club. Lol Good luck.
