Usually you can bundle it with your home owners or renters insurance but since your company doesn’t I would look at other companies that do. You may even find a better insurance for everything. I use USAA for insurance, I know they’ve opened up some products to civilians, I’m not sure if insurance is one of those products but I’ve always gotten the best coverage with them

Jewelers Mutual is the one most people recommend on here. I’ve used it for several years now and no complaints.

I have a rider on my State Farm homeowner’s insurance.  The premium is 1% of the appraised value.

I have a rider on our homeowners insurance. Be sure that the appraisal ACCURATELY reflects the cost of the ring. Appraisals are wildly inflated and you’rr going to pay based on that. It should be appraised at what it would cost to buy it – basically the price you paid. You can adjust the amount for inflation should it be required.
