    I love pears, personally. I think that they are really romantic and give a ring character. Also, based on what I have seen in the past, the pear cut almost creates an illusion that makes a ring look like more carats than it is. Can’t argue with that!

    I love pears as well, and I choose a pear e-ring so I may be biased. The pear shouldn’t loose sparkle if it is cut correctly. It is such a beautiful shape, and not too many people have pears.

    Normally I always vote round, but since you’re looking at a bezel cut, I actually think the pear looks much nicer. 🙂

    Have you considered marquis? It is long like the long pear and very good as a stand alone

    (Otherwise I like round!)
