I’m a vintage junkie and my ring is fittingly from an antique dealer my guy sought out.  It’s one of a kind, originally from the 1940’s:

Something not vintage but very contemporary….an asscher cut diamond in a brushed rose gold setting.  Kind of feels like industrial meets a vintage cut.

It will be paired with a white gold band with channel set princess cuts.

Love it cause it is VERY me……

It has a sapphire on eash side in a heart. Anyone know of a good wedding band? I was thinking of something like this…..

@cribbie: Mr. Peaches proposed with a plain white gold band, while my engagement ring was being made.  So, that’ll be my wedding band.  It fits pretty well together…sorry that’s not any help to you.

My ring was designed by my Fiance. I knew about it because he wanted to make sure that I liked it. At first I thought, “yay! great!!!t now I can have a say, and make sure it is perfect!” Well, as soon as he sketched it out for me, although it was TOTALLY different then anything I would have wanted, my heart melted and I LOVED IT. He wanted it to be a white gold band with one diamond inset with two green emeralds inset for his “Irish twins” (I am an identical twin and very very close with my sister) Eventually the green emeralds (which is also my birth stone) had to be swapped for green sapphires because they are stronger (my ring finger is so small the diamond and the jems had to be small to be inset)

Every time I look at it I think of how perfect it is! Sorry about the crappy pictures, its just taken from my computer!

@peaches13: Yeah, it’s just harder for mine since the band on the engagement ring has the filigree design and the side stones are pretty lifted so I just wanted something that would mesh well.

Here’s my set – it’s a white topaz stone with diamonds around it and on the band, on white gold:

I love the sapphire sidestones. I also just noticed that in this picture the ring’s shadow kind of looks like an elephant. I wonder how that happened.

Here is mine, original in the fact that we had it custom made. No colored stones, sorry to dissapoint. 😉
