I like the princess cut because it sparkles so much, and the pear because it’s kind of different.

@rambmom07: i thought i wanted a princess cut, but Fiance actually picked out a radiant cut. he went to a local jeweler that explained the dynamics of each diamond and the radiant gives more of a ‘sparkly’ look, whereas, the princess cut has more symmetry. the jeweler asked which i wanted, and Fiance did well! completely love my ring and never even knew i’d love radiant more than princess! if you love princess cuts but really love sparkles, consider looking at the radiant!

I have always loved the pricess cut as well! It was (and still is, for diamonds) my favorite cut for a very long time. I had my heart set on it.

I’d always disliked round cut.. but we have decided on a moissanite stone and the best cut for that gem is round. I don’t have the ring yet, but the one we chose is round and I am already in love with it 😉

I have a round brilliant, which was my favorite shape for engagement rings because it was what my mom had. I love that its classic and sparkly! I also love oval and cushion cut diamonds.
