Hmmm  from the top view it looks okay, but side view looks high.

Mine site 8 mm high but I don’t mind it.  Do you like it?

Hm. The good news is that you could get any wedding band to sit flush…but if that is going to be your wedding band you don’t need it to be nearly so high.

I would take it to a jewller and ask. They’ll know much better than us but I think the engraving may make it more difficult. One of the rings we looked at had engraving and the shop told us they couldn’t resize it because of this. Did your fiance get told anything similar when he purchased it? It is a beautiful ring but I agree the side view looks a bit strange.

I think the empty space makes it look super high. It is beautiful, however it does look very high. Your jeweller will be able to lower that setting no problem if that’s what you’re looking to do.

That is waaaaay too high.  I wouldn’t be comfortable with that.  Looks like the jeweler made a mistake.  It’s pretty from the top though.

Bad joke, I’m judging myself for even writing this, but I have a dark sense and f humor so what the he’ll.   You can use the extra space to attach a key ring and your hour keys.  It’s really too high.

Yeah, that is way too high. You’re going to bump it on everything, and hurt yourself and others with it. Take it to a jeweler and see if anything can be done. If they can’t change it, I’d look into getting a different setting.

I would get the center piece lowered. If the engraved part cannot be altered maybe they can take the center piece and reattach it to a new ring.

Definitely too high! That would drive me crazy. I would definitely try to see what your options are for fixing it. It is beautiful from the top though!

It’s a little too high.  Mine is similar but lower.

It’s pretty from the top but it’s definitely way too high. It looks like a mistake. I’m sure you can take it to a jeweller to have it adjusted.

Hmm mine looks about the same height, which was a pain in the bum to get used to, but I did eventually.  It’s filled in though so it’s not too awkward looking….I’m no jeweller but maybe you could do something like this?
