neaira :  beautiful ring!!! I recently bought an antique ring off Etsy. Does your ring have any hallmarks in the inner band? If so, you might be able to find who made it. The ring I bought didn’t have any 🙁 mine was posted as Art Deco but it’s white gold so I think it’s probably from a different era.

heres my new rose cut diamond band. I love it so much and I’ve been wearing it with my ex moissanite.

neaira :  Thanks! You should look around for bands on Etsy, there are so many great styles and shops. My favourite shop is The Love Knot Shop.

plpinkinsa2001 :  That band is so pretty! White gold was very popular in the Art Deco era.

Congrats! Beautiful ring. I love the high crown on your OEC.

I’m an antique/vintage jewelry nerd who loves history! I have an art deco ring from the 1930s by the U.S. maker, Jabel. Jabel is famous for perfecting the “die striking” process, which results in sturdy, long-lasting designs. They also use palladium as an alloy to their 18k white gold instead of nickle, which makes the ring whiter (no need for replating!), a bit sturdier, and good for people with allergies (me).

The carved band here is also from the 1930s and made in San Francisco by JR Wood & Sons, who later became Art Carved 🙂

What a lovely ring! Now I’m imagining love stories and the journey that ring has been on in the last 100 years.

Here’s my .33 oec!  Love yours!  I have no history unfortunately.  It was an Ebay purchase.
