I definitely understand this isn’t a crisis situation, but I would love some advice anyways!
I’m having such a hard time picking outfits for our engagement session. It’s going to be outside, near a river and with lots of trees (that are slowly changing colour) and it’s starting to get chilly. However, I would gladly wear a cute dress if it looked good for photos.
I have two minor issues that I’d love your opinions on.
1) I had originally selected dark denim, black boots and a dark forest green sweater because I thought it would look really good again the red and oranges of the fall leaves. Unfortunately, there haven’t been many leaves changing yet this year so I’m worried I’ll be lost in the foresty background and look like I’m wearing camo. Should I change my “casual” outfit?
2) I wanted to have a cute dressier outfit (as much of one as you can pull off wearing in a forest lol) and I found this really cute yet casual strapless dress. It’s navy, teal and purple in a print. However, I was looking off my photographers website and it says they recommend that you avoid prints for the photos so it won’t be distracting. Should I find a new dress or has anyone done any engagement photos wearing a bold print?
I’m running out of shopping time and really don’t want to look back at my photos and wish I had done something differently.
