Hello Baltimore Bees!
I don’t live in Baltimore but travel there often socially and for business. My fiance and I live about 45 minutes away is Prince George’s County. We’ve been thinking about what type of shoot we want and what location. While searching for inspiration, I found these photos: http://www.sbstudiosblog.com/2012/12/maeling-anthony.html.
We really like the urban abandoned lot/abandoned building setting with the graffiti and overgrown greenery. Are there any places like this in Baltimore that would be good for an engagement shoot?
I did a search and found this shoot that was done in Baltimore: http://www.annabellephotoblog.com/baltimore-engagement-session-stacie-and-jonathan/. Any idea what building this is and where?
Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙂

@purple_orchid: if you have a good enough program, maybe you can zoom on in the street sign in the one and do a google streetview?

Here is our Baltimore engagement shoot pics. We did them in mount Vernon, the harbor, and federal hill. Not the graffiti type look but thought it could offer some inspiration.

Little Italy might offer some good backdrops as well

@purple_orchid: it’s woodberry kitchen/ clipper mill. ha, if i had looked closer at the pictures i would have recognized the glass art sculpture in front of the apartment building.
even if you don’t use that location, woodberry kitchen is the BEST restauant. you should check it out.
when my Fiance proposed, he sent me on a scavenger hunt and woodberry kitchen was one of the stops.
there’s not a lot of grafiti in the cleaner places in Baltimore. you’d had to go to more the off beaten path/abandoned sections of town. they are redoing fells point now and that had a lot of old structures, especially the old police station. its a pretty cool building.
