    Definitely okay!!

    I would send an invite and say something like, “The first rounds’s on us” or “the first toast is on us” at the end. It will make it clear that you’re not paying without being rude. 🙂

    Maybe you can ask a close friend to host it? Have them email/mail/facebook(lol) everyone. That way there will be no confusion.

    I don’t think you have to host it. Just let people know you want to go out to celebrate. Maybe a phone call would make the whole thing easier?

    Or, just say, “the first round is on us!” like @ddw: recommended.
