hhmmmm… I guess it would depend on the ring style and the thickness/decoration of the band. I like the idea of a message to him, just for him on the inside of his ring. Ultimately though, it’s about whatever you both like and makes you happy ๐Ÿ™‚

I think that’s a nice idea, as long as it goes with the ring and doesn’t take away from it.

I wanted engraving done on mine but not on the inside, so I actually had it engraved on the side, that way I could have it facing in if I wanted it closer to my heart or on the outside if I wanted to show it off.  It had to be hand engraved because of the width but totally worth it.

I say go for it with engraving on the outside like the other posters said as long as it doesn’t take away from the style of ring/decoration.

I love this idea!!!  If I knew this earlier (or thought about it earlier) I wouldve done our wedding bands the same way.  lol

I say if you want it on the outside then do it! I do love the idea of engraving on the side though! But you have to do what’s going to make you happy – it’s your ring so do what you’re going to love, as you’re the one wearing it, and that’s all that matters!

I like it, is on the side. I would off never thought of that idea. It’s pretty cool. ๐Ÿ™‚

I like the suggestion to have it done on the side like the pic posted by Marlew

I kind of like the idea of having it on the outside, but it is unusual so you might get some flack for it from severe traditionalists. I say go for it!
