Bees! I need some ideas!
We found our rings and because we chose them together, we are very excited about personalizing the inside of the ring. I’m interested in peek-a-boo stones inside, for instance putting both our birthstones inside (tiny). I’ve also heard that some brides put a tiny sapphire inside the band for their “something blue” on their wedding day.
If the inside is personalized or engraved, how?
Is it a good idea? What metal would be the best (for his ring) to personalize? My ring is white gold.

My SO and I recently went to Zales to try on rings. They have a collections called Cherished Promise. All of the rings from that collection have a tiny blue sapphire on the inside of the band. It was really neat looking. I’m pretty sure the ring was White Gold.

I love the idea of the something blue inside the ring too cute!! My engagement ring has my nickname engraved, but my poor Fiance spelled it wrong, but now I just laugh about it because he is the world’s worst speller and I know they were probably thinking WTF when they saw what he had written on the order. Anyway I think I would like to have “33” engraved on the inside in Roman numerals to coincide with the Sonnet 33 by Pablo Neruda which I want to tie into my wedding somehow. It’s beautiful.

I love “surprise” stones! Here’s a custom ring from Brian Gavin Diamonds that I think did this perfectly:

Instead of engraving anything inside DH’s ring I put tiny emerald inside (my birthstone). He loves it and thinks its cute. The pic isn’t very good but if you look closely you can see the emerald on the bottom to the left. The ring is white gold. [attachment=1438088,182526]
