I think its fine. When I go to weddings, I never really want to stuff my face or feel super full!

MMM i love pasta too!

Not sure but it looks like if you are using their catering it is cheaper where as to just have the food made its more?

i looked at the catering website for you and this option appears to be an optional add on food station to their main catering option.  So if you went with the catering option that starts off at $11.50 per person for one main entree option, you can add on the pasta bar for $5.75 per person — otherwise they charge $10.50 per person.

i don’t think the pasta bar is enough food and personally for $10.50 per person, i think you can do better by ordering from a local restaurant.  i bet you can get a pasta bar, maybe a chicken parm or lasagna, bread, and salad.  With this catering co. all you’re getting is pasta and an assortment of sauces.

i’m sorry, but i don’t think that’s enough food.  however, if you add in the leg of lamb station it would be.

i’m trying to figure something out for you for $5-6 per person.  i’m usually very good about these things.  let me do some thinking and i’ll either post here or send you a private message.

To be perfectly honest, If I’m going to an evening wedding – I would expect to be fed dinner. I really don’t think there’s any way around it and it’s unfair to your guests.

Maybe do a morning wedding with a brunch? That should be far less expensive.

Or you can cut the guest list?  No matter what, unless you do it at 9 PM or something like that, you almost have to serve people food.

That’s just my opinion…

I’m sorry to say 🙁

Is the $11.50 per person too much?  That wasn’t a bad deal for one entree, one side, one salad, and two veggie dishes.
