ok my wedding starts at 4pm. My receoption is 15-20 away. I had planned on the wedding ceremony to last about 30 minutes. I had figured that we should arrive at the reception by 5;45. Now that I think about it thats not really realistic. I figured that we would be taking pictures no more than a hour. Im trying to brainstorm the schedule of the day. Do you ladies have any suggestions? Oh i told the D J that the reception should start at 6pm and end at 10pm, 10:30. What do you all think?

Im also having issues with the photographer category. Our ceremony and venue are at the same place and we only have 4 hrs total for this so what Im trying to do is go ahead and take some pics before the ceremony but NOT a first look (fam is very strict about this and I would like to surprise him as well). So I decided to have photographer for 6 hrs. My fam, BMs and I would come outside dressed first, take some poses, then go inside (you would want to take the outside pics before the men because at that time guests might be arriving). Then about 5P the G, his fam and GMs would go out and take pics. Ceremony starts at 6P, ends approx 6:30P, then the G and I could take pics in 30 mins. Reception starts at 7P. With a tight schedule like I have I would suggest you make a must-take list for your photographer. I dont see a problem with the reception beginning at 6P and ending at 10-10:30P. That sounds good to me.
