After looking at the timeline for our wedding it looks like our guests may have about a half hour of time to kill before the cocktail hour starts. My family and I are trying to be as unique and fun as possible. So, I was thinking of hiring a magician, juggler, and some other type of strolling performer to entertain the guests on the lawn while they are waiting for the cocktail hour to start. The venue is a large victorian mansion with a huge lawn and gardens that is included in the rental. I also was already planning on putting out paper parasols for the guests to use for strolling in the garden. We were considering lawn games, but I think I like the performer idea better, because then they can get things going and will engage with the guests.
Bees, what do you think about this idea and do you have any other suggestions to add?
