You know your guests best. I would love this! My friends would love this!  I would love to play Alice for you!

If it works for you and your group, DO IT!

I would love to come to an Alice and Wonderland themed wedding!! I think if done well, it would look amazing.

That being said, I think the real Alice entertainment would be strange. I would instead incorporate orchidblooms ideas. (and post pictures once its over, I would love to see what it would look like)

Here’s what i would do. Don’t have her take adults to the photo booth.  Have her pop in,  inquire if anyone has seen the rabbit,  and interact with the children.  Maybe the kids could help her ‘find’ the rabbit somewhere and the kids can have a go holding it or something,  then she can pull out a pocket watch and exclaim ‘Oh dear I’m late’ and leave.  Adults would still appreciate the theme,  it would be very sweet,  kids would have a good dose of excitement,  and everyone would go home happy.

Uhmm. can the guests just come and enjoy your themed wedding?

Having actors is only acceptable if you and your spouse to be are terrified of people – because instead of the focus being on you two, the happy couple, and the lovely surroundings, we now have people dressed up as characters and the guests have to interact with them ala dinner theatre…please dont.

To tell you the truth, I have gone to those murder mystery dinners before, so i would be asking your alice who has she killed lately, and making sure she didnt have any weapons…

@Justbrynne:  I hope you are not spending your talent anywhere but on event planning – because you did just describe a most wonderful concept for a birthday party for kids 🙂

and I mean that in the most sincere way! xoxo

@Pele: Well i LOVE it! I would LOVE to go to something like this and LOVE the idea of a performer! I think there’s so many cute ways to incorporate things!

I dont know if this is getting toooo much but how would you feel about Alice passing out drinks/shots labeled “drink me” ? It gives her a purpose and will help people WANT  to interact with her and would settle some of the concerns that some of the posters have about the performer feeling awkward with adults. Of course, I dont know if Alice should give out drinks… but I never said they had to be alcoholic… they could be in cute bottles/containers too! I just think it would be soooo cute!!!!
