I would vote fade out, so you can hear over the music. As for music, are you going to have the moms and Future Father-In-Law process in? That would make it take longer. And since it’s such a small ceremony, you really could do anything. Cue up “your song” to the chorus or a particularly cute verse, check out Vitamin String Quartet versions of popular songs, do something tongue in cheek, go full on traditional and do the bridal march. Whatever you want. Have fun!

Love that song!

It’s your wedding, do what you want. The only thing you HAVE to do is get married. The rest is just window dressing. (This is my new mantra since we are 2.5 months out and I am making myself crazy. 🙂 ) Love the song? Use the song twice. Love two songs? Use one for the processional and one for the recessional. S’all good.

Also I suspect this is one of those things that only you and a couple of people will notice. Our recessional is “She’s No Lady, She’s Your Wife” I picked it, am guessing that like 3 people will laugh and 150 others will just be all, ‘oh good, that’s over, now on to the bar. There is an open bar right?’
