- Wedding: December 2012
Here’s my dilemma .. i’m getting married in a hotel and the “aisle” is quite short so its not going to take long to reach the end. I went to a similar wedding when the bride walked in to “you look wonderful tonight” by eric clapton and when she reached her fiance the registrar literally stopped the music. No fading, just stopped mid song.
I’m undecided on music, and had been thinking of something upbeat and fun, rather than emotional, however, today I’m thinking emotional. Now, my Fiance is not really that into music but he loves “you’ll never walk alone” by gerry and the pacemakers. I’m hoping some English bees will read this and know the song. Its the Liverpool football club anthem and is probably the only bit of music that gives him goose bumps.
So, I thought it would be a great surprise to have it as my entrance music and after listening to many different versions I found an instrumental played by Nina Simone (who we both love). I’ve hopefully attached a link .. let me know what you think.
Would love to know whether if you go for lyrics you get the full song, or is it cut off in the middle?
