My Fiance is an artist and has been awesome enough to design our invites (including a painting he did that we are making into prints for the cover) and I’m going to be putting all the elements together, making belly bands, hand-addressing the envelopes, etc. So…..I want to order envelopes so I can get started on addressing since we need to mail by the end of this month while he’s still finishing up the final designs and then having them printed. He is not really being that helpful about choosing envelopes because i’m pretty sure he doesn’t care, but i do! Anyway, the invite is modern with a bit of an old carnival feel and the main colors are green, grey and yellow (I can’t wait to post pics when they’re done!) so would it be ok to use those recycled paper envelopes with the texture look? I found some cool taupe ones on paperandmore.com. Otherwise, I was thinking maybe a green envelope, but I’m pretty sure it will be impossible to get a good color match since we aren’t using a set. I really do like the recycled kraft paper look, but need some opinions on whether or not it will work with our invites. Help please!!!!
