A7 envelopes are 5 1/4 x 7 1/4.  You could do an A8 (5 1/2 x 8 1/8) or A9 to be safe (5 3/4 x 8 3/4).

Envelopes.com has samples you can order for $1.  Buy one A8 and one A9 and see what fits your woodgrain envelopes.  You can use the $2 credit towards your final order.

If you are using A7 envelopes as inners, the best outer envelope size is what is sometimes called an A7.5 or an Outer #7. These envelopes are 5.5 x 7.5, so they fit the 5.25 x7.25 A7s perfectly without being so much bigger. I got my outer envelopes through envelopperinc.com and I’ve also seen them online at Paper Source.

The A7.5 envelopes are available at Paper Source in a whole array of numbers.  GL!

They also sell #7 in a variety of colors at paperpresentation.  I found their envelopes a little cheaper than paper source, because they sell them in packs of 25.
