I had my Dakota hemmed and taken in, changed the neckline to a sweetheart, and sewed on a belt. I think I paid around $640 for the alterations after a $100 discount. It was expensive! I was hoping to pay a little less, but they did a great job, and lace dresses seem more difficult to alter so it was worth the cost. I had to have the dress taken in two sizes, which may have increased the price. I was very happy with how everything turned out! Good luck with your alterations!

My alterations cost $200, but all I had done was the hem and bustle. I am sure taking it in, altering the neckline, etc. would have driven the price up further (plus I was unhappy with the seamstress`s work and my Mother-In-Law fixed it for me. you do get what you pay for!).
