Hello ladies! Newly engaged gal here looking for opinions on two dresses I am in LOVE with. I am pretty sure my dress will be one of them 🙂
Heres my question: I got a quote from a local bridal salon and from what I’ve seen listed as the original price on preowned sites it seems like they are charging way more than any other salon. The quote I got says $2800 for ‘Diana’ plus $400 for the matching sash and $2300 for ‘Dakota’
Does this sound right to all of you Enzoani brides out there(and I know there are lots of you!)?? Or should I bring my search elsewhere?
PS Sorry if I sound like I’m being nosy- a yes or no on if it seems overpriced will do fine! 🙂

I ordered the Diana on Friday, and I got it for $2450, and that price included the sash. It sounds to me like you need to call around a little–I definitely think you can beat $2800 plus $400 for the sash!
ETA: I shopped around a bit for my dress (called/looked in about 8 different stores), and not one of the stores quoted more than $300 on the sash, even if it wasn’t included in the dress price)

My Dakota was $2400 plus alterations. Worth every penny. I loved her!

I paid $2700 total with taxes, the sash and a neckline adjustment for Diana. Where in CA are you located? I shopped around at a few different bridal salons in the OC/LA area and went with La Soie.

@Saraswati: I’m in San Diego. Thats a really good price.. I don’t mind travelling if I can get a good deal so I think I’ll look into paying a visit to that salon
@bakerella you look beautiful! I think I’m leaning more towards Dakota because I love the shape but maybe with straps like Diana and the Diana belt
Thanks for your help so far xoxo

I paid $2500 + tax, including alterations and the belt, for the Diana. The shop said it was $2500 before alterations but I called around and found a place in NJ that said they’d give me the Diana, the belt, and alterations for $2000. I called the original, local store back and told them, and asked if they could budge on the price, and they said they’d throw in alterations for free.
So my advice is to call around–nobody wants to lose a multi-thousand-dollar sale, especially in this economy, and you should be able to get a deal.

I got my Diana for $2450 with sash and the store gave me a credit to use %10 of the dress cost($245) in custom changes (neckline and hem). Call around and see what you can find ,good luck!

i paid $2025 for my diana.. and that price includes one belt– i actually ordered both belts.. paying $250 for the second belt, so the grand total for the gown, both belts, and alterations was $2525.. it might be worth a weekend trip to ny to go to my salon rather than pay the price you were quoted 😉 no, but seriously.. call around!!

Thanks for all your help ladies! Ordered my dress this morning 🙂
Paid $2800 incl tax and alterations for ‘Dakota’ with ‘Diana’ belt. I’m having the neckline altered to more of a sweetheart shape and straps added so it will be like a Dakota/Diana hybrid. Very excited!
Thanks so much again xoxo

@Pomapoo: do you remember what store you found it for $2000 for?

You should go to Pebble’s Bridal in Los Angeles (Woodland Hills). They’re prices are whatever Enzoani sets but they offer store credit (I essentially got my pronovias cathedral mantilla veil for free). You can also put store credit towards alterations. I looked in san diego as well (Isis Bridal) and it was the same price but I didn’t get my store credit. Hope that helps!

Oops! I didn’t see that you already ordered it!! Congrats!!

I love the diana dress too! Too bad I can’t afford to buy it with a $2000 price tag. If anyone is selling theirs please let me know! I can wear a label size 10 or higher. Thanks!

I tried the Diana on recently (I’m in Australia) and it was $3800.
I’m shocked at the price disparity!
