you look great so happy for you! i bought an enzoani blue too and i was between a 0 and 2 in the hips….i ended up going w/ the 2 and it had to be taken in at the top. i wish i had gotten the 0 though because i think it would have fit!

@sanjessica: Have you decided on what jewelry you are going to wear with it??

@dli: Mine has to be taken in at the top too.. she put cups in but I still don’t fill it, lol. She also took out the hips a bit (under the butt) so it fits more like a trumpet than a mermaid which I prefer. The dress is so comfy and no other dress fit quite like it 🙂
@kotonikak: I have! I’m wearing two strands of pearls (which some rhinestones in between) and a double strand for a bracelet. I bought a pair of earrings but I think I might switch them.. and also I’m doing a birdcage and hair piece but haven’t picked them out just yet 🙂
Thanks for the encouragement ladies!!!

I just ordered the same dress yesterday. Did you order it from a store in Toronto and were the alterations done by the store?

@sanjessica: Love your dress … i would highly recomend sitting in this dress i say this because i tried this dress on and was soo uncomfortable i felt like i waddlled in this tight mermaid lol it was tight around my bum too it was a uk 10 which is a us 6 i think… before you make alterations and think everything doesnt need adjusting .. last thing you want to look on your wedding is uncomfortable and awkward xx

@Sadie_Higgs: I ordered it close to Guelph and the alterations are being done by the store owner. She’s so awesome.. she knows her dresses so well and she knows exactly what needs to be done to fix it. After our last fitting she said she’s going to add boning (because that belt stops just at my belly button giving me a bit of a muffin top/hula hoop if I sit.
@Joynson: Thanks for the tip!! I tried sitting the first time when it was suuuuper tight (it was hilarious.. I could only crouch forward and then let gravity knock me over.. my BMs had to help me back up). I was able to sit in it after she released the belt. At my last fitting she had released the thighs a bit more (because it was making my butt a little too pronounced for a wedding dress, we thought) so I’ve got even more room. I’m really excited it’s fitting so well – I picked it because it was so comfortable and had a bit of a panic when I tried it on and felt like I’d be mummified!!

Did they order your dress a 2 based on your waist measurement? That’s my largest measurement and I’m debating to get a size 2 (25 inc) or a size 4 (26) if I measured 25.5.

That was definitely the shops fault! They should not have screwed up. Luckily it worked out, but don’t pay for those alterations, that’s the bridal salon’s responsibility.
Personally I find Enzoani is pretty true to street size, even big sizing so I’m not sure how they messed it up! On an unrelated side note, Enzoani has a weird size chart, e quit different than other bridal lines….they don’t even have a true zero size – i think they need to sort out their sizing chart and stop messing it around from year to year. Maybe this is partly what confused the bridal salon.
anyways, looks lovely as is, so I would definitely keep the two. Just annoying that it added unneccessary stress!!
good luck with your wedding planning.
