I have found ‘the’ dress in the Weddingbee classifieds!! It’s the Blue by Enzoani Casablanca. However, I have one concern….sizing!
First, I noticed on the Enzoani website that they have 3 distributors (North America, Europe, UK), so I’m concerned that if I tried on a ‘label size 8’ in a store in Canada (which fit perfectly) that it will not be the same as a ‘label size 8’ dress purchased in Europe or the UK…Does anyone have any insights on whether it matters where the dress originated? Does Enzoani keep the sizing the same internationally?
And, second, I noticed another post that said that the Enzoani size charts have changed…So, if the preowned dress is a size 8 and was originally purchased in 2010, is it still the same size 8 that I am trying on in the store? So confusing…=)
Thanks in advance for your help!

I don’t know, but i bought used dresses and wouldn’t rely on the label size anyhow, especially since most preworn dresses are altered. Contact the seller and ask for the actual measurements of bust, waist, hips and length ( hollow to hem or the side seam)

Hey there, I realize that you have probably figured this out, but another bee may have the same question…
the UK sizes are totally different than the US sizes. The labels are not the same internationally. A UK 10 is much smaller than a US 10. I lived in England for ten years – I’m about a UK 6 and a US 0. On the enzoani chart Will be different for each country so it iOS best to consult a size chart for the year or the dress and country of the dress.
I also assume on the continent (non UK Europe) they use sizing such as 36, 38, 40 etc.
another issue is that some brides re-selling their dresses post the street size so ensure you get the label size. For me, enzoani is true to street size – I’m Same in both. Other designers I’m off by a half size. But I know other girls have posted that they sized up in wedding dresses. It’s all based on measurements so that’s the most important thing.
Good luck for those of you buying internationally – although in general UK prices will be 200-600$ higher than US prices – unless you get a good used dReds deal of course.
Hope this helps someone out there looking 🙂

I know when i was in Europe, all the sizing was complete different! I wasn’t looking for wedding gowns then, but it was something I had a lot of difficulty with.
I found the email to contact Enzoani UK, maybe you can shoot them an email about measurements.
[email protected] and also the email for Enzoani US [email protected]
Not sure if that will help, but I thought I’d pass it on. 🙂

My Enzoani Dabra is a size 12 UK (about an 8-10 in Canada) and it fit almost perfectly. I don’t think the number itself matters, just make sure the person ordering is ordering the same kind as the one you tried (so if your dress is a UK size 12, make sure they ORDER a UK size 12 and not an American one). Best of luck and congrats on the dress 😀
