I would go through the Enzoani website for a credited retailer, it sounds like the place you went to was pretty sketchy and like you have a lot of reasons to be skeptical! I didn’t get the Erin (or try it on), I got the Dakota which was $2400 (Canadian). There’s no beading or crystals on it, but it’s all lace. Maybe that will help you with a price point comparison? The dress was really well made, I loved my Enzoani!

I tried it on about a year ago and remember the bow being as you described it, kinda cheap looking. If I bought the dress I probably would’ve removed it. It was a front runner otherwise, but the cleavage was too much for me and I thought it made me look square. I’ve seen it look great on a couple of other Bees though. I think the price was somewhere around $1500-$2000.

@aubiegirl:

My daughter just got married in this dress on New Years Eve. She looked amazing if I do say so myself! They easily cut the bow off at the bridal salon when it came in. She had a few crystals added at the edge of the sweetheart neckline. I would follow your intuition and go to a reputable bridal salon.

Best wishes!

Hi,

I just bought this dress for my July 16th 2011 wedding and I am obsessed! It is light, airy, and completely romantic! Trust me I tried on almost 100 dresses and I kept going back to this very first one! The lace is nicely made and the shape is very flattering. I paid $1800 and I was able to order without the bow being attached. The store said they could remove it when it arrived, but i was worried it might rip the lace. I asked them to send the bow seperately because i am going to have my florist sew it onto my bouquet. Attached is a picture of the day i bought it!

@aubiegirl: Hi!

Thank you!!! I ordered the dress mid-Decemeber and they quoted it to arrive in May. She suggested 6-8 months. But I think you would be ok at 6 months.

This is my Enzoani Erin. I had them make it into more of a ballgown (in the back) I got rid of the cheap look. I hope this doesn’t come too late to be any help to you!
