- Wedding: December 2013
So I have been a pretty laid back bride when it comes to planning details, and truly, and I am sure like most brides these days, the vast majority of my planning has been done online.
So this brings me to my registry. Fiance really has no interest in it and doesn’t understand why we need to have one (my reasoning is that we need to do so as a service to our guests as to eliminate confusion, etc.) Another thing little problem that I am having is that I don’t really have anyone who is interested in my registry except for people asking if I have one yet, like FI’s mom and stepmom, or perhaps a random aunt or friend.. My mom hasn’t really shown much interest in it so I really am on my own and its kind of difficult determining what I need, etc.
At first we thought we would prefer money, however, you can’t really ask for it and TBH we don’t really need it. Whats kind of cool is that I have found the more I play around with it the more stuff I actually want and need! we really have an improper kitchen, both for Prep AND Entertainment. When Fiance and I first moved in together we sort of put together a makeshift kitchen by combining our random stuff that we already had from our single-hood. We never really moved on from that.
I guess my question is that I am wondering if its okay that my entire registry has been built online? Its on Macy’s and for the most part, I think its pretty complete, full of kitchen gadgets, cutting boards, silverware, cutlery, glasses, 2 different set of serving ware, a few picture frames and some nice bed sheets.. Am I missing anything?? And am I crazy for not doing this in person at the department store?
