Ok I need help here. I keep getting these offers from vista print for 250 free business cards. I’m thinking of somehow using the business cards as my escort cards instead of the regular escort card I had in mind. My main question is I have no idea how I would display the business card escort cards. I was thinking of pinning them up on an easel but those things are never very sturdy and stable… Any ideas of how to display business cards as escort cards so the guests can easily find their cards

Lots of places have escort card holders – rather than displaying them in their “tented” form, you simply stick the card into something, like wedding bells, corks, or stands. Google “place card holders” or search on the bee – lots of options and business cards could DEFINITELY work since if you are using the holder, you wouldn’t have a need to stand the cards up. You could display them on a table in their holder.

What is your theme? It might give you an idea of something cute into which you could insert the card. These were from my wedding, although they were seat markers not escort cards.

I’ve ordered the business cards before. They’re great.
This is my inspiration…

No I dont have a theme for my wedding. I just want it to be something simple and easy for them to find their cards.
I kinda wish I could get some on holder that would hold alot of them rather then one holder for each. I saw an inspiration photo where the couple used a wooden shutter and then hung the cards from the shutter. I guess I’m looking for something more like a library card drawer but raised [if that makes sense]

Never mind I just realized that I wont be able to use the business cards becasue by the time I get my final rsvp count it might be a bit late to order the cards lol. Dont know why I didnt think of that before

@kate02121: I guess it depends which shipping option you choose. But I dont want to pay extra if I can just make them myself for less. I’ll just print them at staples, thats where I printed my reception info cards and my fans, the quality is awesome and for a great price too!!

@bells: Depending on how big your guest list is – just have them printed for everyone.
I’ve had brides use corkboards that they covered in fabric and bought the pins with the round, colored heads on them… then stick them with only a little bit of the pin going into the corkboard.
You could find fairly inexpensive picture clips to display them, or string some ribbon across something and use mini clothespins to hold them
Depending on the exact size of them, you could glue them onto the folding placecards from Papersource, this is what I’m doing.
Good luck!

You could use little envelopes like those you find inside the front cover of books.
Place your card inside so just the name shows, then when they lift out the card, the table number is visible. This could be done flat on a table or on cork board on the wall or on an easel.
or clip your business size cards onto a bit larger card and use an old library card drawer or a replica box
or spray paint an old cabinet in your color
