Just do simple escort cards with some different flower cliparts on each. I think Ms. Ballet Flat had a post about where she got her clipart for her wedding suite. You might look that up!

You could get those mini card board favor boxes from a craft store and glue some nice quality silk flower(s) on the top of the lid – attach a little card with there name and table number.  This could also be used as the favors as well if you fill the box with candy or something….

What about poms with leaves where you can write the names and table #? I saw a picture on The Knot of something like that and it was very pretty. I was going to do that for our place cards, but then realized I am not very good at making poms. LOL

What about seeds so guests can plant your wedding flowers in their own garden?  Kinda like they take the wedding home with them.  Depending on the number of guests, take a potted flower plant with flowers in it, then use sticks with lady-bugs, butterflys, etc on them to hold the cards with their place card.

What about tiny pots (the 1.5 inch ones) with flowers and a tag with their names?

These have fake flowers glued in the top so you could work on it starting now, wayyy before your wedding!

Good luck!

What about small potted herbs…

Potted Herbs

I found these at http://www.intimateweddings.com but I think you could create these pretty easy with some seeds, popsicle sticks, small terra cotta pots, and some leftover paint to distress. SUPER CUTE!!

Here you go. I forgot I had it saved in my Knot notebook. Here they used strips of paper to write names and table numbers, but I’ve seen people cut out leaves instead. It can’t be too difficult. Here is also a Martha Stewart tutorial. I like the rounded edges the best. Ms. Joey called the pointy ones sea urchins! LOL

I am doing a ribbon board and you can do this with any colour ribbon that would match your colours!
