Hey bees, just want a little input here. I’m making escort cards and I’m debating whether or not to put some flatback embellishments on them. I’m not sure if it’s noticable enough for me to justify spending the time doing it. These mock-ups were made using regular printer paper, the real ones will be printed on #70 paper (similar to cardstock).
Here’s without the flatbacks
Here is a pic with the embellishments

I don’t want to burst your bubble, but honestly, I can’t tell a huge difference. As a wedding guest, I don’t pay a terrible amount of attention to the escort cards anyhow.

I like the embellishment. I think it is subtle but elegant.
Do you have bling in your theme? You could also do a pink stone for more impact.
If you are using your escort cards as placecards to indicate the choice of entree to the wait staff, the embellishment could serve that purpose (using different colors for different entrees).

I think the embellishments aren’t really noticeable where you have them, but maybe something in the center top, or even centered between the three openings? I added black crystals to my daughter’s invitations and all associated papergoods, and clear crystals to the escort cards…. and it made a world of difference.

Thanks for all the responses. I think I might just add one large something or other (not sure if rhinestone or paper flower of some sort) to the top middle. It’ll be way less work than having to deal with two tiny flatbacks (which are a huge pain for something so tiny).
