I’m making my escort card and place cards the same thing (usually they are, but not always). Anyways, the guest will take the place card from the table with their name on it, find out what table they are at, and put it at their spot once they choose a seat at the table.

I’m doing a ribbon board! Well, hopefully. I just started making it, and already realized I got the wrong ribbon. Whoops.

In any case, I bought the printable escort cards from the hobby shop. I’m going to make a card for each guest (or couple) with the table indicated on it. Since I’m only doing table assignments, not seating assignments, guests will pick up their cards from the board/table during cocktail hour, and use it to find their table and claim a seat when everyone’s asked to go sit for dinner.

I hadn’t thought about escort cards, but then I saw these:

LOVE them!  We have a nautical theme so I’m trying to find inexpensive 3″ corked vials.

I like these too, but it freaks me out a little ordering starfish online.
