I’m so excited to see this post! and so many lovely Essense dresses! I havent officially selected mine but I’m leaning towards 1928 in pewter. This is ivory. By any chance would someone have an Essense pewter dress they could post?

I went with D1788! I chose the ivory over champagne! I must admit, I’m having some anxiety over that choice becuase in my head i keep thinking all white or all ivory is more bridal…BUT…I tried the other options on and I am definitely in love with the ivory over champagne dress. I hope I don’t regret it! I haven’t decided on accessories yet or a wedding belt…but I’m thinking pearl and crystal belt that goes all around my waist and is sown onto the dress. No idea on what shoe color to go with either! Here’s a picture of me in my dress!

misstomrs022017:  that dress is gorgeous! Originally the style I was going for and ended up with an all lace dress! Congratulations! I’m sure you look beautiful in it!

I lOVE all of these dresses, so beautiful!!  Mine is the EofA d1679, I’m having it altered to add cap sleeves and a lace back, the bottom pic is during my first fitting when we were starting to plan out the sleeves.

What lovely  dresses on this thread! EOA have some truly great designs and envery single  bee pictured looked just wonderful!

I can’t resist airing   my pet prejudice   against sparkly belts though, and couldn’t   help noticing that  in every case where the dress didn’t have  one added , it looked  better ( to  me that is …)

JK0487:  I went with the 1686 too! Do you have any pics from your wedding? I am wondering how the sheer straps photograph so I am thinking of adding a little white fabric underneath. Thanks!!

It’s here! It’s here! It arrived in the store exactly five months after I ordered EoA 1802 in ivory over almond. The belt I’m wearing with it is by Allure, because I loved it more than the belt that comes with this dress. The fit is GREAT in the bust and waist. It’s a little too tight through the hips, but I could see a very generous one inch seam allowance through the lining when I held it up to the light. I’m beyond thrilled with the quality, especially when I compare it to the DB dress I liked that was only $250 cheaper ( originally the same price). I’d have had to buy bra cups or even a long line bra to get the same fit and structure that I’m getting here.

elderbee:  It’s so funny you say this!  I’m currently having this debate with my mom who absolutely HATES belts.  I actually felt like the belt gave my waist a bit more definition, showing of my curves a bit more.  But that could all change when the dress arrives.
