Two dresses in one and perfect for a short or petite bride-to-be! This Essense of Australia gown was custom-made to be 9″ shorter than standard saving shorter brides a load on alterations (removing then reattaching all of the eyelash lace edging can get expensive! *Perfect for heights 4’11”-5’5″. Alencon “eyelash” lace overlay dress is completely removable with short train and has low v-shaped back and v-neck front. Alencon “Eyelash” lace detail around all straps and around bottom hem of dress. Solid ivory taffeta underdress has optional spaghetti straps or can be worn strapless with sweetheart neckline with low back. Perfect way to get two different looks for your ceremony and reception and look like you spent a lot on two different gowns!
No fabric has been cut! As mentioned above, the dress is 9″ shorter than standard and is perfect for a bride between 4’11” and 5′ 5″. Taffeta dress has minor alteration under arms and at seams in back to accommodate a small bust–thread can be removed, no fabric has been cut. One French-style “Under” Bustle with large fabric covered hook-and-eye system to bustle for short train. Only “alterations” to lace overlay dress was tacking the straps to be shorter, can easily remove thread for taller or bustier brides!
Ribbon style ivory belt with lace and fabric flowers included. One bottom end of belt has minor dirt marks (easily cleaned). Ivory satin ribbon with gorgeous sheer and rhinestone flowers atop a lace embellishment that matches the lace overlay dress, flower and lace detail about 6″ in width. Taffeta underdress can be worn alone.
Worn June of 2016. Wore alencon lace overlay over taffeta dress for ceremony, removed lace overlay for reception. Looks like two different dresses! Not professionally cleaned, very minor dirt on bottom hem.
