Do you plan on doing nail art at all or just solid colors?

In any case, for winter I LOVE China Glaze “Skyscaper,” it’s a gelly kind of blue with silver glitter. I wore it more than any other color this past winter. Also any good collection needs an fantastic red so I reccomend China Glaze “Hey Sailor.”

I love Zoya polishes and they run specials several times  ayear. They just had one that was buy 3 get 3 free (or something like that), and when you spend $50 you get free shipping. They last long and I find that they describe the colors fairly well on their website. My current favorites are :

  • Valerie (have it on now. Deep reddish purple with shimmer. Also looks really pretty with a flakie top coat. My partner compliments me every time I wear this)
  • Skylar (medium soft blue)
  • Charla (really cool tealish blue that’s on my toes right now. Shimmery)
  • Tru (medium purple w/ warm shimmer. Lots of shimmer)
  • Holly (rich emerald green. Bought it b/c it’s my name but I wear it a lot, and am thinking of wearing it on my toes for my wedding)
  • Dove (really pretty grey w/ no shimmer)
  • Gemma (soft sagey green w/ blue shimmer)
  • Kelly (medium-dark grey w/ some blue to it)
  • Isla (really dark red w/ shimmer. totally glows on)
  • Ibiza (really dark blue w/ shimmer. I wore this a ton over the winter)
  • Malia (lightest purple without going pastel

Depends on your complexion – I’m super pale and recently bought a light blue and it makes me look almost tanned!

Other than that, a translucent pearl, a bright red, a very light pink and a glittery gold are all handy to have.

1)To me a Nude polish is essential!! classy, fresh, and it goes with everything!

2)A navy blue is really nice too. I like it in the winter. It’s chic and in my opinion a good alternative to black. I love OPI’s “Russian Navy”

3)Deep Plum and wine colors are good for winter too. “Velvet Voyeur” by Essie is a nice one

4)So is “William Tell Me About opi” by OPI

5)Also for Winter I like a hunter green too! “Holly Day” by China glaze is really nice

6)Another nice green that I think can be worn in winter and spring is “don’t mess with opi” by OPI

7)Coral is a great spring color! “Tart Deco” by Essie is a really pretty girly coral color

8)or “Melon of Troy” by OPI

9)You can also go for a bolder bright coral like Essie’s “One of a kind”

10)Mint green/ Pistachio/teal are also another great spring pick! “For Audrey” by China Glaze is great

11)”Navigate Her” by Essie (for pistachio)

12)or Essie’s “Mint Candy Green”

13)Pale pink is also a really lovely spring color and I think it has all the charm of pink with out making you feel overwhelmed. “Flawless” by Essie is a nice one

14)”Demure Vixen” by Essie is also a nice cross between a pale pink and Lavender

15)Lillac is a really pretty spring pastel “Done Out In Deco” by OPI is a good rendition

16)A bright blue polish can be fun and bold for spring/summer but just make sure you go with something that isn’t sparkley to avoid it becoming to reminiscent of a polish you had when you were in middle school and to give it a more grown-up twistSmile. Try something like “Ogre the Top Blue” by OPI

I put this board together (in order 1-16 left to right 1 being nude polish 16 being bright blue Smile)

aahhh! I could go on for days and days. lol I hope this wasn’t too much and I hope it helps Smile

I think every woman needs a good nude, pink and red in her collection. For winter, my favorite color is a nice gray.

The one I own is “Break-A-Legwarmer” by Sephora by OPI.

I wear Essie “Sexy Divide” a lot in the winter. Its a deep purple with red shimmer. I also wear a lot of “muddy” neutrals. Essie “Chinchilly” OPI “You Don’t Know Jacques” OPI “Parles-Vous OPI” Essie “Case Study”

I only wear Red on my toes and I never wear pink but the Red I like is Rescue Beauty Lounge “Chinoise”.

OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark, Essie Navigate Her, and just a Sally Hansen basic pink French manicure polish.
