My cost per person is food, drinks, security, room rental, table cloths, napkins basically all of what I will be giving the venue divided by the number of people we estimate to attend. I believe our price per person is right around $40 with top shelf alcohol in nw Indiana

My cost per person with everything included (staff, gratuity, food, booze and tip) is around $130-150 I think.

If I take the overall amount I paid to the venue (venue fee, coordination fee, sound fee, booze, etc etc) divided by the nubmer of guests its more like $207.

My cost per person for the catering (food, plates, utensils, napkins, servers, bartender) is just under $35. We’re having BBQ to keep the costs down. Our catering is 1/5 of the overall budget.

ETA: If alcohol is included in the price per person, it adds $10.

Our is $125 per person for venue/food/waitstaff/cocktail hour drinks/champagne toast/linens.

I don’t even want to think of the per person cost once we add in the bar tab, cake, paper and all that other stuff. I think I’d cry haha.

My venue is $140 per person and includes everything except for photographer, DJ, and officiant.  Cocktail hour, plated dinner, open bar, cake, venue, day of coordinator, taxes, and gratuities are all included.

Ours was $140 a person and included food, cake, and open bar. If I were to include rentals and venue fee it comes to just over $200 per person.

Including venue, food, linens, alcohol, guest transport it’s just about $950pp- flowers, dress, photog, video, ceremony etc etc all separate

It’s stupidly expensive, but that’s what my Dad wanted so there ya go. NYC in the fall ain’t cheap.

It’s typical to consider per person costs to be the catering costs, ie food and drink. In reality, catering, additional staffing, centerpieces and linens, and invitations are among the things that can impact the cost of inviting additional guests, families or tables. Fixed costs can include things like venue fee if any, officiant, clothing, music, photography and video.

Either way what you spend is a function of your budget. Hopefully the question has nothing to do with what you hope to get in the way of gifts.
