Estimated cost is $39,176. However, that includes some things that are already done, and it’s saying our rings cost $17,000? Ha. I don’t think so!

Also, HTB’s mom/my future Mother-In-Law is a wedding planner … we’re getting some discounts.

@FloretteLiz:  interesting! for where ours is taking place, it said $18k-$30k for the accutrements we are including. Our budget is $27k, so it’s pretty spot-on.

My estimated cost was $22,316. My actual budget is $8,000. Although I have a feeling it’s closer to $10,000. I’m assuming it was so off because of the given zip code: San Francisco = weddings/vendors are insanely expensive here.

It estimated our wedding at 39k and some change. We obviously haven’t gotten married yet, but it estimated some things we already have booked WAY higher than what we actually spent. It said a photographer would be around 4k, and ours is 2400!

Hmm, in my area the average is $15,086 to $25,144.  It estimated me at 17K, but we are not going over 10K no matter what. Hopefully closer to 8K…

I wish I knew about this thing before so I wouldn’t have such a heart attack when we went so much over budget! The calculator quoted us at 66k… we’re currently at 64k. Sigh. New England is expensive. Thanks for sharing– I’m telling all my engaged friends about it!

This is such an interesting website!  It looks like our wedding is going to actually cost about $30k and the site estimated $34k.  I cannot believe I am now accustomed to throwing these numbers around!

I thought it was going to cost about 16,000 and after figuring the cost of the wedding dress, Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen gifts, centerpieces, decorations, and everything else it’s going to end up being closer to 25,000

@FloretteLiz:  it says that I would spend over $56,000 for our wedding and THANKFULLY we should only be hitting at the halfway mark… but I am getting a lot of great deals… but dang that’s a lot of money!

It estimates me at $20,246, where my budget is between $10K – $15. Hopefully I’m the one that is right and not the calculator…

Estimated 17k, and we’re spending somewhere between 12 and 15.  Pretty close!  And our caterer is a family friend which honestly is probably that 2k difference.

It estimated $28K but our budget is $5000 and we’ve only spent aroung $2500.
