I’m taking oral Estrace right now, and did for my last FET as well… I have zero side effects from it.  I’m doing Crinone this time, but I’ve used Endometrin in the past.  The only side effect I have with progesterone is some constipation.  Personally, I prefer crinone to endomitrin.  Endo just leaks nasty white gunk all day for me where as the crinone gel stays up there until you clean it out (which is not pretty either, but I prefer it to leakage).  If you have presription drug coverage (not necessary for fertility), it should be covered.  Neither Estrace or progesterone is a fertiltiy only drug like our stim meds are and can be picked up at cvs stores so it’s not really a “specialty” drug.

I’m interested in following this thread for responses. I’m on day 2 of (vaginal) estrace (2mg 3x/day) and vivelle dot patches (I’m only at one but working my way up to 3 by this week). I’ve done the vaginal estrace before and never had much of a reaction, besides leaking some blue. I’ve heard that oral can give you a bit more of a nausea. Right now I’m experiencing super painful cramping for awihle after I put in each tab, and maybe its the combination of patches and higher doses? I’m not sure. As far as endometerin, I’ve been on it plenty of times and the only real side effects like @pinkshoes said was constipation and discharge.

ETA: I’m still on my period so maybe this has something to do with it, too. But I’m not typically one to get cramps in my stomach so its sort of freaking me out.

I didn’t have any side effects from the estrace or the endometrin. The only thing is that with endometrin you’ll want to wear a liner because it will leak out and (as someone once warned me before) it’ll look like a bird pooped in your underwear.
