So! I wake up early for work, but since it is a holiday there is no work.
Question: Can I wake people up or do I have to wait?
I’m just sooooo bored and I’m ready for family fun! Argh. At least if it was christmas I’d have the santa excuse. God, I’m 27 and I still want to jump on people beds and make them come play with me =0p

@subtlebee: I vote let them sleep. I was suposed to run a Turkey Trot but was told by my doctors no yesturday due to some health issues acting up. I’d be asleep but that issue woke me up so I’m going to nap later in the morning. Let them sleep though sleep is a wonderful thing to be thankful for. Plus I love the quiet in the morning when its just me. I get a lot of reading in or cat petting time in at these times.

@dewingedpixie: Oh no! I am sorry you are having issues and couldn’t run. I hope you are ok. And I know that would be the nice thing to do but I woke up at 4 and I cant see letting them sleep past 7 or 8 lol. Even though it would be the christian thing to do…

@subtlebee: I’ll be fine 🙂 I always get this with my condition when it gets cold. My dr gives me a round of meds and I’ll be goodin a few days. I’m just mad that there’s no turkey trot for me. Fiance said he’d set my bike up on the trainer later though so I can train in warmth and do something less jaring. He’s a good man.
Do you guys have traditions for T-day that you are excited for?

@subtlebee: Where are you? Do you have a sibling you can wake up? Do it! When I visit the UK without Darling Husband, I am quite used to my brothers putting a wet cloth on my face to wake me up so they can say hi, or even wake me up at 1am to watch a movie – I love it! Especially if the ‘rents are still asleep!

@dewingedpixie: We fry a turkey and watch football. I’m hoping whoever wakes will go walking with me though. A little pre-food defattening! Yesterday we had our seafood dinner (which I also had for breakfast!)
@Cariad: Nope just me the boo and my folks. and my cat. She got up with me and has been hanging out (until the sun and birds woke up). My brother passed several years ago and my half brother lives in a different state so there is nobody who I feel I can do whatever to and they have to take it. Youre super blessed to have brothers nearby! Cherish that relationship because it is one of a kind!
T-minus 1 hour til I throw my cat on my mom. and by one hour I mean like five minutes =0)

I woke up super early because I have a pretty bad hangover and the first thing I wanted to do was wake up my Darling Husband but I let him sleep because he always lets me sleep on the weekends. I’m 27 as well and I still am the same way! Time for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade! Happy Thanksgiving bee’s!
