I would get whichever one is closer in width to your ering – I’m not generally a big fan of sets where the band is a lot thinner than the ering. That’s just my preference, though, it depends on what you like :).

I’d definitely try a few eternity bands on at a jewelry store if at all possible, you might find that one style is more comfortable than the other, or that a certain style of band is too high-set for your ering, etc.

I have a knife edge solitaire, and my ring would be 1ct if it was eternity (its almost eternity but has a bar for sizing so is .85ct). I think mine is a great size, and any smaller would be too dainty. Mine actually looks pretty dainty if you look at it when it’s not on my finger.

Sorry forgot to add my e-ring is .90ct!

My rings are both 2.2mm. My wedding band is a full eternity 1ct tw. My center stone is 1.3. I agree with PP that I would be more concerned with matching the width of my wedding band than the total carat weight.

I love the band you are considering! Rose gold is so gorgeous!!

My vote is to go with the 1ct ring if it is going to be your only band, if you plan on stacking then I’d go with the .5carat band.

I have a 1/2 carat eternity band and I love it, my ring size is 4 I think my eternity band is like 1.6ishmm

I have a .5 carat half eternity band with my .50 carat solitaire and I love the way they look! My finger is a size 6, by the way!

@JemmyGee: so pretty!  I’m looking for something just like this.  I have a .81 Radiant solitaire.  Do you mind my asking where you found your wedding band?

@wrkbrk:  Thank you!! Yea, I love the proportions so I would look at .75 carat bands to get the same ratio! Your solitaire is STUNNING by the way!

I took a pictue of the side of the band and I have my finger turned a little but you can see how far is goes down the side!

It goes down a tiny bit further but I couldnt get a good shot of it haha. And sorry its sideways, I dont know why!

@LavenderBride24:  Surprsingly, we got it at Zales!! My e-ring diamond is a D VVS2 and the band is a F-G VS1 and we got it on clearance for around $550!! It isnt certified or anything but they have the exact same bands there but not as good clairty but I tried another band on top and you honestly couldnt even tell the difference between the 2! I love it.
