Hello lovely bees, I’m wondering what you think eternity bands, the ones with diamonds all the way around. I think they are the most beautiful thing ever…but now that I’ve been wearing one, there are things that bother me. Things such as how high mine sits and how the prongs underneath are getting worn out way faster than the prongs on top. I don’t like hearing the diamonds hitting every surface I touch. I wish I could size it down slightly but that’s not possible.
But it sparkles all around and I love that about it;)
Please post some pics of your eternity band and let us know how you like it!
Too big and I can’t size it! 🙁

I like eternity bands, but I prefer the channel-set ones over the prongs.
That may be just because my e-ring is a solitaire, though. If I had a halo or pave band I’d probably want the band to match.

I think they are beautiful but I wouldnt buy one for myself bc I dont understand why I would need the diamonds to go ALL the way around.

You just stated the very reasons I chose a 3/4 eternity. Well it is 1/2 eternity when it was sized to an 8 from a 6 lol

I love them! For me they are the only way to go, since I plan on wearing my wedding band solo sometimes and I still want some sparkle:-) Yours is lovely–and I really love your e-ring too.

I love them but a friend of ours is a jeweler and says that diamonds fall out sometimes and it is a hassle. I do not know if this is true but this is what we have been told.

I voted I don’t like them because…. mostly the same reasons above- sizing issues, all those prongs are bound to get stuck in/on something & I’m rough on my rings & know that something would fall out pretty darn quick. That and I like the feel of a smooth band on the inside of my hands….

Thank you! Don’t you find it sticks out way too much on my finger?…
Ah yes, I love when that happens. 1/2 becomes 3/4!
All the way around…I see it as a great benefit for people like me who have to wear large rings because they need to pass over a larger knuckle. Because of thie issue, my rings spin like crazy. That’s why I initially went for an eternity but then I soldered my set and yes, the diamonds on the bottom are useless. I do like them running down the sides though because my ring spins! Argh

I love eternity bands, I have 5 at the moment, two .25ct full eternity bands, one .5ct full eternity band and two .20ct black diamond eternity bands. I have had a total of 3 diamonds fall out of 3 different bands (one diamond each) and while that was super annoying, nothing can come between me and my love for eternity bands, lol.
I know how you feel about the band sitting high, my black diamond bands are super high, so they are harder for me to stack with other rings, my .5ct eternity is “low profile” so it is nice and even to my ering.
This is my .5 eternity with my ering and new rose gold band
Here are my black diamond bands with my white sapphire RHR

I LOOOOVE eternity bands! Full eternity bands are so beautiful, but mine is a 3/4th. I chose 3/4th because, unlike my e-ring that I could change a million times if I wanted to, I only want ONE wedding band forever… so I chose something that I can resize in the future.

I think they’re pretty by themselves but I don’t like the way the look with most rings.

I am not a fan of the diamonds going all the way around the bad. I find they rub against my skin and make my skin goes raw. The first wedding band that I had went 1/2 way around and I had to trade it in the very next day because my finger next to it was already red and irritated. I like the rings that only have diamonds across the top. i know for my anniversary band I will just get a ring made that is exatly like the wedding band

In the picture where it’s alone it does look like it might irritate your hand a little, but I bet you’ll adjust. With your e-ring though I don’t get that vibe at all, it looks more flush.

True, with my e-ring the band is tilted so it’s tighter. Thanks for the feedback!
What a beautiful collection of eternity bands!! I love the black diamond bands stacked like that!!!
I know, right? I find they are usually higher profile than the ring they are stacked with and I don’t like the unevenness. I really like when they are low profile.
