I would love an eternity ring but I am so crazy about sizing.  I would die if I could not wear it anymore.  I really like the look of bezel set eternity rings, especially miligrain trimmed ones

I got a full eternity moissanite band for our one year anniversary. It’s a Stuller setting that was set by an eBay retailer. No snagging, no finger gouges or even irritation. Lots of sparkle! I bang this thing into objects all the time and, thus far, no problems. This is how I wear it every day:

The middle ring is my actual wedding band. The e-ring is domed about the same height as the eternity band, which probably keeps the band from digging into my fingers. But I’ve worn the eternity band alone as well, and you really do just get accustomed to it. I have half eternity rings, and my knuckles are ever so slightly bigger than my finger, which caused spinning. I hated having to reflexively re-center stones every minute. Problem solved! Here it is on its own:

I have a bezel set platinum and diamond full eternity band. I love it:

I really like how flat and flush it sits with my e-ring.

Because my half-eternity band twists on my finger (as does my e-ring, but in the opposite direction), I have sometimes wished that I had a full-eternity band. However, from a comfort-on-my-finger perspective, I definitely prefer a half-eternity band. I also would not like the fact that DH would have paid for so many many “extra” diamonds that would not even be visible along the sides and bottom of my finger or that the diamonds would be hitting or rubbing against other items when I touch or carry them.

I think they are really pretty, however i dont like the feel of diamonds between my fingers, Feels so rough!! So i prefer the anniversary/half band. I have a channel set anniversary and its perfect for daily wear.

I don’t like them because you can’t resize them, and beceause it gets worn out on the bottom. 3/4 eternity is the way to go! I’m also just anti diamond where you can’t even see it!

I have an eternity band – 0.50 ct that goes 3/4’s the way around and a 1/2 eternity ring (not sure of tcw). I find them very comfortable and the ring spin really doesn’t bother me. The 0.50 ct ring is new (1 year anniversary given a month early lol), but I haven’t taken a picture of it and put it online yet. I wear both with my wedding band (2mm) and my e-ring. It’s the stacked look.

To anwer your question – I love them!

They are beautiful to look at, OFF a finger in my opinion.  I think they make fingers look weird… like it sticks out too much around where metal usually is.

I love eternity bands! But I like ones that don’t stick up way too high all the way around. I don’t like the feeling of prongs rubbing on my other finger. I ALSO love a good deal 🙂

I haven’t purchased a ring yet, but at first I was dead set on an emerald cut full eternity band. I have been thinking about it and I think I might go for 1/2 or 3/4. I am hard on my hands and wear my ring all the time, plus I want to be able to resize it if need be. I have fat fingers so my ring doesnt spin (unless it is really cold), so Im not really worried about spinning.

@romantical:  I love French Cut! I am having my diamond reset in a new halo setting and it is french cut. Once I get it I need to find a matching eternity (I am leaning towards a 3/4 eternity). I love the blue nile one! What carat weight are you getting?

I have a half eternity band because I am a little bit neurotic about losing a diamond…. 🙂 I just would feel weird about there being diamonds on the palm side of my hand, where they everything I grasp. Also, my band has a tree-bark design on the bottom, so  it’s certainly not plain or boring on the bottom.

Mine has a sizing bar on the back.  I think technically it’s a 3/4 eternity band.
